Children create a relationship and easily maintain them with modern forms of communication. Parents spend fewer hours with their children because of the increase in the number of working hours. The families have al so changed from extended families to nuclear than to single-parent families. The rate of divorce is high (Rodd 2013, p. 89). Communalism has been replaced by capitalism as people focus on the pursuit of individual gratification.
